I shall leave this place tomorrow morning for Pittsburph I Should have gone Sooner but my family have been quite out of health. I Shall cross the Hudsons river at or near Fishkill and from thence to Reading in Pensylvania
I conclude that you have received the receipt of Wm Allen. I know that my brother has paid him. I wish you would forward to me as soon as posable the pay of Willeain Allen Soldier 2 U.S. Regt. for the month of March April May & June. I wish it may be Sent to Reading. I Shall esteem it a particular favour to have my own pay for the month of May Sent me their I Shall be very necessitated for money — it may be Sent to the care of Mr Shoemaker or the contractor at that place
