I received your letter of the 25th Ulto, and in answer have to inform you that the Muster Rolls received from the Army include you as Sub Legionary Major to the 2d Sub Legion for the time you mention; you may therefore authorize any person to receive the amount at this Office, being Dr 137100. calculating the Subsistence at the Contract price of the posts on your route from the Army, which is the same that you were allowed on your first settlement at this Office.
