I have to inform you that Edward Dowlen late a Private in Springer's Company in the 8th United States Regiment has received his pay at this Office from the 1st June 1795 to 19th May 1797 (the day of his discharge) I think it necessary to inform you of this circumstance in case any application may be made to you for the same that you may be governed accordingly.
