Philadelphia 30 May 1797 Sir— I will thank you to inform me what order was taken on my letter of the 8^th instant relative to Stationary and Petty requested by Colonel Henley for the Garrison at Knoxville — and if there is an order for the forwarding it does not appear, who was to provide the articles — I am very sincerely — [signature] [P:] I have an opportunity to forward them to day — May 30^th 1797 — Sir.
