late a private in Springer's Company in the 3d Uni[ted]
States Regiment has been paid at this Office from 1st [undecipherable]
1795 to the 19th May 1797 (the day of his discharge) in con-
sequence of which you will be enabled to disallow a[ny]
demands that can be made on you to that effect.
Inclosed is a letter for the Paymaster of the said
Regiment informing him also of the circumstance[s]
which I request you will convey to him as soon a[s]
possible.
