I have not had time to examine them with your Abstract. therefore cannot be particular as respects the number & amount. I shall however in time & hope for the next post be enabled to do it and write you fully on every subject contained in your letters. The present meeting of Congress has caused an additional press of business in the Office and it will continue so while the Session continues. I am pleased to find you have collected so many of the Officers accounts and here let me repeat my solicitations for a continuance of your perseverence in obtaining as many more as possible, and forward them forthwith to this Office.
