Document 1797The Secretary of War approves of the disposal of of the articles belonging to the Commissary's department at Fort Washington. Mr. Day, the Assistant Commissary, should be instructed accordingly and those articles not disposed of should be deposited in the care of the person at that post having charge of public property.
