And I have to request you will be pleased to Observe, that unavoidable occurrences on my part have [undecipherable] that has hitherto prevented a Settlement of my accounts, and has been the only reason why I [undecipherable] not immediately acknowledged the receipt of your letters as well as of M^r Hagners in your Office whom I have [had] the pleasure from acquaintance — in the pay of my company to the 30^th [undecipherable] last, receipt must have taken [undecipherable] [undecipherable] together, And will on regular rolls as [been after settled?] [strikethrough: [undecipherable] that their [undecipherable] [undecipherable] from [undecipherable]] have met the [?] of many receipt for bounty, And I have no alternative not to apply for a renewal of them to the undeniable [undecipherable] [undecipherable] I claim as still on bounty, the taken from my company. I understand that the occurrences on my part may be, no reflection [undecipherable] can be imputable then what has arisen from Accident.
