Your Letter of the 1st Instant has been received.
I am willing to agree to your last proposal of omitting the Articles mentioned in your letter but the remaining part of those mentioned in my letter to you of the 3 Instant must be fully carried into effect — It may be proper to note the exceptions alluded to which will be as follows getting on board timbers, and Cables and bending them; Making, Cutting and fixing them on the gunsters and Hackling the Yards. Mastbands and [Blocks] and mast-eyes. as the aforementioned exceptions are agreeable the sum proposed I shall expect every part of the Business of Rigging &c. will be completely finished for the additional sum of 300 Dollars. —
