Accountants Office Pittsburg May 12^th 1797 Sir I received your letter of the 5^th Inst. with a Bundle of Muster & Pay Rolls & accounts, which shall be placed under examination & the result will be communicated to you. It is as yet undetermined whether L^t Polhemus will be allowed the Six months pay & Subsistance allowed to Deranged Officers, should it however take place he appears largely indebted to the Public, which of course will first be deducted.
