This sum is remitted to Daniel Stev[ens] Esq^r Supervisor Charleston. to be by him paid to the ord[er] of John Habersham Esq^r Collector of the Customs at [Sa-] vannah who is doing the duty of Agent of the War D[e-] partment in place of Major Freeman. he will arrang[e] the Business so as to have the money paid on the Pay a[nd] Muster Rolls properly authenticated, which you will [be] to direct to have compleated in the usual forms.
