I Certify that per a letter of the Comptroller dated the 3d Inst giving a receipt of John Habersham, Collector of the Customs for Savannah in Georgia dated the 31 March 1797, said Habersham has applied to the Incidental & Contingent Expences of the War Department the sum of Fifty dollars, which he discounted out of the monies arising from Imports & Tonnage, and for which he is to be accountable in pursuance of a Warrant to be Issued in his favor by the Secretary of War to which said receipt is to be annexed annually to the communication of Comptroller
