The enclosed is a Copy of your account as it stands on the Books of this Office, by which you will be pleased to observe that there is a Balance in favor of the United States, of Five Hundred, and fifty one dollars and twelve Cents.
it being a desirable thing to Balance as many Public Accounts, Pas early as possible, I have to request that you will pay the above mentioned balance into the hands of John Habersham Agent of the W. Dept in your Quarter taking his Receipts therefor, one of which be pleased to forward to this Office.
