The Secretary of War has thought proper to issue a Warrant in your favor for Three Hundred & fifty dollars on account of your pay — which sum you will receive from Jonathan Jackson Esqr Supervisor at Boston — on giving your duplicate receipts therefor to be accountable.
You are particularly [strikethrough: to] requested to attend to the immediate settlement of your account on your arrival at the Army. I shall forward a list of the charges against you on the Books of this Office to the Paymaster General with directions to cause an immediate settlement & forward the Vrs & Vouchers to this Office
