I am to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 28. and 30. March and of y. [undecipherable] — agreeably to yours of 28. March have paid Cap.t Michael Kellitton Six hundred and forty Six Dollars and thirty Six Cents, being for the pay of himself, Lieu.t Robinson and the Troops under his command to 28. February 1797 and herewith enclose you his Receipt therefor — am happy to find you have received the Receipt of John Habersham Collector of the Customs Savannah for three thousand nine hundred and fifty two Dollars for the pay of the Troops in Georgia for September and October 1796.
It is with satisfaction I learn, that the error committed in the adjustment of my account for the quarter ending 31. Dec. 1796 of 3[undecipherable] Dollars is rectified — as soon as I receive the remittance from the Treasurer of the Sum of Two hundred and twenty five Dollars, I shall pay the same to Auguste De Grasse agreeably to your instructions. —
