Pittsburg 28 April 1797 Sir General Wilkinson is embarked for Fort Washington the 25^th on board a light boat with 12 oars. He expected to reach that post in 3 days. Two Packets addressed to the General under the War Office seal that came to hand this day will go forward Tomorrow in charge of Captain VanRensselaer by whom I am sending forward all the Cavalry Equipments & Chicasaw Indian Goods to Fort Washington.
