Sir,
Your letter of the 15th in answer to mine of the 10th inst on the subject of Lieut [strikethrough: Cudworths] [strikethrough: Ludworth] Cudworths affairs, was received yesterday. I have not yet taken out letters of Administration, but shall do it next week, & will forward you the evidence of my legal qualification immediately. Mr. Joseph Trunnick of this place is charged with my receipt for the balance due on account of David Clifford, & a blank receipt for such balance as may be found due on account of Lt. Cudworth. I could wish he may receive the same of you. Mrs Nichols shall be put on the footing of the other creditors, & when I can ascertain the amount which I shall be able to pay on the pound her dividend shall be transmitted.
