I Certify that there is due to Christopher Sandiford private in Capt Gibbs' late Company of Levies the Sum of One hundred and thirty Dollars and eighty cents being for Balance of Pay due him to the 4th November 1791 the day he was taken prisoner by the Chippawa nation of Indians and for his pay during the term of his Captivity untill the 4th of November 1790 being the day of his return from the said Captivity to Pittsburg which sum is payable to John Gibson per order of Robert Brotherston Attorney to the said Christopher Sandiford.
