I find on examination of Major Bedingers account that he has paid him in full to a certain period, from which, to the date of his discharge agreeably to the Certificate of the Sec^y of Wars Clk^s, he ought to be paid by Major Bedinger as he best can judge of the propriety of the charge as well as of Monies Credited — I therefore return the account to you to present to him, and should he not have sufficent funds in his hands, you will then obtain his Certificate to the account of the monies paid to M^r Graves by him and forward the account to this Office — when a settlement will take place.
