so soon as my health was sufficiently establ'd I found it was necessary for me to repair to the [strikethrough: [undecipherable]] of Tenfew. Capt Lewis has been kind enough to furnish me with three Hundred Dollars I as I have not had it in my power to settle my publick Accounts or receive any pay since the first of October 1795.
