I find that the clerk who reported thereon, committed an error of Thirty Nine dollars &^cts, which is now rectified and will be remitted you by the Treasurer of the United States, as well as the sum of Two hundred & Twenty five dollars, which you will please to pay to Augusta DeGrasse Sub Engineer at Charleston, and take his duplicate Receipts therefor, being for his compensation from 1^st January to 31^st March 1797.
