The Inboard draught which is now in hand will also be forwarded as soon as it is completed — Sir W C^o April 1 1797 [M^r John Blagge] Receiving your letter dated the 13 Ultemo By the information I have received from M^r Cheever it appears [strikethrough: that] this has taken place for a Navy Yard at Corliers Hook for the term of 10 years, and that he has removed a large quantity of Plank and other Materials to that place — From these circumstances I am inclined to think it will be most to the Interest of the United States to have the Materials removed to Corliers Hook as soon as possible and the former yard may be delivered up.
