Likewise Separate Receipts from Sundry Men of S. Detachment, who have been Discharg'd and paid at Pittsburgh. The Amount of my muster Roll is eight hundred [undecipherable] and [undecipherable]. The Separate Receipts from John Davidson and Joseph [undecipherable] and Corporals, are twelve Dollars each and from John Cleveland Edw.^d Brant and Tho.^s Steel, Privates are eight Dollars each. The whole of the Separate Receipts [undecipherable] amounts to Forty eight Dollars, which Sum, [undecipherable] along the Pay reciev'd for on the Roll, from amounts to Seven hundred Ninety four Dollars, [undecipherable]. The [undecipherable: probable reading "Total"] Amount of the Pay and Muster Rolls for Sept.^r and Oct.^r was reciev'd through the hands of Isaac Craig, Esquire, which, on examination, will be found, their Still remains a Balance of fifteen Dollars now in my hands. This Balance was occasioned by the Deaths of Jonathan Plummer and Daniel Coleman Privates in my Late Detachment, who had Died previous to my receiving the Pay which had been made out on the Rolls. After an examination is made out on the Rolls of my Late Detach.^ment for Sept.^r and Oct.^r '96, will request you to have the wanted Pay, passed to my Credit. enclosed is a Letter to Cap.^t B.
