Brig. Gent P. Wilkinson stands charged on the Books of this Office with 1658.00 Dollars being the balance of an account, a copy of which you will receive herewith —
On application to him respecting it, I received the enclosed letter which I submit for your perusal as well as the one I wrote him, at the same time I request you will be pleased to point out what part is to be passed to his Credit. which has been expended for secret services. I am &c.

I have received your letter of yesterday, enclosing the Receipt Rolls of your Detatchment for January and February 1797 amounting to Seven hundred & thirty six dollars &100 which have been examined and will be passed to your credit on the Books of this Office.
I herewith transmit your blank muster, Pay & Receipt Rolls, also an act passed the 3d instant to fix the Military Establishment of the United States. —
