Wilkinson stands charged on the Books of this Office with 1658.⁰⁰ Dollars being the balance of an account, a copy of which you will receive herewith — On application to him respecting it, I received the enclosed letter which I submit for your perusal as well as the one I wrote him, at the same time I request you will be pleased to point out what part is to be passed to his Credit. which has been expended for secret services.
