I have now the honour of informing you of the safe arrival of W'r Master Hannegan at [undecipherable]ghm - In my last letter I mentioned the report of his probable loss on the Glaize River they had march'd the rout & were lost for several days but by the means of some Indians, whom they luckily met with, & who they conducted them to the next garrison - I have just by received from M'r Hannegan the Vouchers of the last of [undecipherable] nothing [undecipherable] - By next
just I shall forward to you a Statement of my disbursements of money as far as it has come to hand, which I hope will meet with your approbation. —
Should the new military bill admit of my continuing as D'r Master General - I shall willingly continue to serve in that capacity; & hope by my management and exertions to meet with your approbation —
