I received your letter of the 11th Instant enclosing a Receipt Roll of sundry men for their pay to the 31st October 1796 which will be placed under examination and the proper amount passed to your Credit.
It would be desireable to have all accounts of long standing settled as early as possible when your convenience will admit of it — you will please to forward them and they shall meet with an early examination.
