Edward Miller Accountants Office Middletown Connecticut March 9^th 1797 Sir I received your letter of the 2^d Instant enclosing the Receipt Roll of yourself, Lieutenant Daniel Bissell and the Recruits under your command for January 1797 amounting to 128⁰⁰/100 dollars, which will be passed to you [credit?] on the Books of this Office, and your Muster and Pay Roll for February 1797 which on examination amounts to One hundred and thirty eight dollars and ⁰⁰/100 which sum you will rece[ive] from John Chester Esq^r Supervisor at Weathersfields on giving him duplicate Receipts therefor.
