[367] Accountants Office March 11^th 1797 I certify that there is due to the State of South Carolina the sum of Forty Eight thousand four hundred Dollars & [undecipherable] being the amount of an account for the Subsistence of her Militia the [undecipherable] attending them in the defensive protection of the Frontiers of the said State between the 1^st August 1793 and 1^st October 1795 which sum is to be paid to W^m Smith, Rob^t G Harber & Jacob [undecipherable] [undecipherable] attorneys of said State now in Philadelphia agreeable to a Resolution of the Legislature of the aforesaid State of the 10 December 1796 for which sum they are accountable & I transmit the Receipt of the Treasurer of the said State.
