Pittsburgh 3.^d March 1797— Sir, You will find this accompanied by a return of Ordnance, Quarter Masters and Hospital Stores together with Clothing and Indian Goods at this post up to the 1.^st January 1797 together with stores on hand at Fort Franklin, Fort LeBœuf and Presqu'isle the 31.^st December 1796. Since which the only alterations which have taken place, have been in sending forward, the Chickasaw Indian Goods, a few Packages of Clothing, & thirty barrells of Whiskey to Fort Washington. A Report of Commissaries Stores on hand at this Post the 1.^st March, and at Fort Franklin LeBœuf and Presqu'isle on the first of February 1797 is also herewith enclosed — Since which the Contractor has sent forward a considerable supply of provisions to the upper posts — I am with very great respect Sir, your obedient Serv^t (signed) Isaac Crai[g] D.2.M.G[.] General James Wilkinson Com.^r in Ch.
