Kept Captain Merrit's pay; Henry Buford is confined in Gaol & I have kept his pay, he will be released soon, & as he cannot pay perhaps some for his fine, I thought it necessary to stop his pay; I would be glad to hear of You have received Corporal Boburn's rects for the pay of November &c. —
