You stand charged on the Books of this Office with a considerable Sum of Money received in the year 1791 for Pay of the Militia &c. of Kenhawa County, Virginia — you are therefore requested to forward without delay the necessary Vouchers, that the different sums paid by you, if admittible, may be passed to your credit and the Balance if any remains in your hands, be paid to the Treasurer of the United States to close your account, the length of time elapsed since you received the money, makes it highly necessary a settlement should immediately take place —
