Presque Isle Feb^y 11^th 1797 Sir I enclose you a Recuit Roll of my Detachment for the Month of August 1796. the Pay thereon Amounting to four hundred and fifty eight Dollars. Which Sum I send through the hands of Isaac Craig Esquire. After the examination is made on the Rolls, I request you will pass the Amount thereof to my credit. I have inclosed letters for Col. I.
