February 197 Sir You will find enclosed herewith several Muster & pay Rolls together with other Vouchers of Disbursements in your Department accompanied by a Schedule by which it appears the several sums paid amount to seventeen hundred and forty dollars 64½ cents which sum be pleased to place to my Credit. Agreeably to your request expressed in your letter of the 16^th December last I have herewith transmitted a Statement of my account since the settlement made in your Office in April last. By this statement there appears in my favor a balance of Nine hundred one dollars 71^94⁄3 cents, that sum you will be pleased to remit me as soon as convenient together with any further sum for pay of the Troops — And you will observe that all the Garrisons of the upper Posts are paid up to the first of November 1796 I am Your Mo.
