You will find enclosed herewith several Muster & Pay Rolls together with other Vouchers of Disbursements in your Department accompanied by a Schedule by which it appears the several sums paid amount to seventeen hundred and forty Dollars 6492/100 cents which sum be pleased to place to my Credit.
Agreeably to your request expressed in your letter of the 16th December last I have herewith transmitted a Statement of my account since the settlement made in your office in April last. By this statement there appears in my favor a balance of nine hundred one Dollars 7134/100 cents. that sum you will be pleased to remit me as soon as convenient together with any further sum for pay of the Troops — And you will observe that all the Garrisons of the upper Posts are paid up to the first of November 1796
