In the month of January 97, I forwarded to General Wayne, a quarterly return of D^r Masters stores also a quarterly return of Ordnance and Military Stores, these papers were taken to Lorainee, and forwarded by an express from Captain Butler. I hope Sir, to have the agreeable pleasure er long to see you here; I wrote to you a few days since p^r M^r Fletcher, late Serjeant of the Legion I this day take the liberty to inclose under cover of my return, a letter to my brother in law in Boston, and wish the General may please to have it put in the Post Office; that it may go forward.
