I have received your letter of the 27th Ulto and agreeably to your request have enclosed you a copy of your account Current in which there is a balance due the United States of Two hun-dred forty Nine dollars and fifty Cents which is thir-teen Cents less than the balance stated by yourself, ari-sing from a short addition which sum stands to your debit on the Books of this Office, also the further sum of 147450/100 Dols. which was transmitted 11th Jany 1797
