Enclosed you will receive a receipt Roll, signed, for the pay of Sergeant Philip Williams and the Men under his Command from the 1st of January, 1796. to the 30th Septr. following Amounting to one hundred & thirty five Dollars. And also one other for their pay from the first of October to the 30th November 1796 Amounting to Forty nine Dollars & thirty three Cents. The payments were made by me in due time.
