In the accounts rendered by Samuel Hodgdon Esqr he charges Rent, for a Store of Stores on Sixth-teenth Street, at the rate of 300 dollars p year as well as a payment made to Steinmetz, or the Rent of his upper Store Rooms in his Ware House at the rate of 100 dollars p ann. In order to ascertain & fix the Amount, no[w] to be charged to the Military Store Department — I have to request you will furnish me with information what proportion of those Stores contain articles belonging to that Department
