Michael Upton to the date of his discharge the same period for which he received pay at this Office— I shall therefore stop his pay on the present rolls and continue so to do untill he has finally accounted for the money twice paid him.— His claim originally he sold to Col^o. Stephen Morrison of (Kentucky) and the Pay Master paid it to him on the certificate instead of the discharge, which was said to be lost.— I am &c. William Simmons Acct.
