Sir Be pleased to deliver to the bearer Edward Kirk two hun-dred lbs of Oakum if so much can be conveniently carried on one horse and by the first Boat or other opportunity 300^lbs more making 500^lbs and if you have on hand a good Kentucky Boat of 40 feet ready to launch the moment the ice will admit and sent forward immediately to me, it will be acceptable and its being loaded with Oats or Corn for me will be very convenient. Nathan Chalfant is under Engagement to deliver at this place for Col^o Neville a pair of Mill Stones which were to be brought on board a Kentucky boat which I agreed to purchase in condition of the Boats being loaded with Forage.
