I am &c W^m Simmons Acct Jonathan Jackson Esq^r Supervisor Boston Accountant's Office January 19^th 1797 Sir I received your letter of the 12^th instant, enclosing Captain Samuel Nicholson's Receipt for Three hundred thirty five Dollars and forty Cents, which sum will be entered to your Credit on the Books of this Office.
