I recd your letter of the 2d Inst. enclosing the Pay & Muster Roll of your Detachment for Decr 1796, which have been examined and after adding eight cents to the Pay of Patrick Powers (he being charged in pay Roll [short] that sum) amounts to Four hundred seven Dollars & sixty eight Cents, which sum you will receive from Nicholas Fisk Esqr Supt New York, on giving him duplicate Receipts for the due application thereof.
