I recd your letter of the 2.d Inst. enclosing the Pay & Muster Roll of your Detachment for Decr 1796, which have been examined and after adding eight cents to the Pay of Patrick Powers (he being charged in pay Roll short that sum) amounts to Four hundred seven Dollars & sixty eight Cents, which sum you will receive from Nicholas Fisk Esqre Supt New York, on giving him duplicate Receipts for the due application thereof.
