Sir
I find from what information I have been able to obtain, that my estimate for the Months of October November & December will fall short — Therefore I have made an addition to it to meet the expenditures in the Department — It is impossible at the Commencement of a quarter to calculate the probable Expenditures on the Indian & Hospital & [undecipherable] —
The weather has commenced so early & so Severely that the Communication with the post has been greatly interrupted — I expect daily an accurate [undecipherable] of the Money required for the present quarter, & what will be required for the ensuing, from which I will Compleat my estimates —
I have drawn three bills of this date on you in favour of Dan'l Horrigan D. T'r Mas'r Gen'l at [undecipherable] at fifteen Days sight N. 70. 71. 372 for one thousand Dollars each those bills I forwarded this day to Mr. Horrigan for the current Expences of the W'Master Department.
