I recd your letter of the 12th Inst. enclosing the Pay & Muster Roll of your Detachment for Decr 1796, which have been examined and after adding eight cents to the Pay of Patrick Powers (he being [short] that sum) amounts to Five hundred seven Dollars & sixty eight Cents, which you will receive from Nicholas Fish Esqr Supr New York, on giving him duplicate Receipts for the due application thereof.
