I recd your letter of the 12 Inst. enclosing the Pay & Muster Roll of your Detachment for Decr 1796, which have been examined and after adding eight cents to the Pay of Patrick Powers (he being short charged in pay rolls that sum) amounts to Five hundred seven Dollars & sixty eight Cents, which sum you will receive from Nicholas Fish Esqr Subr New York, on giving him duplicate Receipts for the due application thereof.
