I rec.d your Letter of the 16th inst enclosing the Muster Roll of your Detachment to the 30th Nov. 1796, amounting to Five hundred thirty four Dollars & sixty Cents. which sum will be passed to your Credit on the Books of this Office. — Francis Clarke's pay as Fifer for the month of Oct.r is sent on to West Point — Charles Stratton & Samuel Ober were not made up in the West Point Roll for Oct.r: you will therefore make them up in your next Pay Roll for that month; you may muster your men as a detachment until the Company is compleat; — Herewith you have Blank Pay, Muster and Receipt Rolls

I rec.d your Letters of the 16th & 12th Inst. — I have examined the contents of all the Receipt Rolls, which I acknowledged to have received; but cannot find the Claims you say were enclosed with that for the Arrears of Pay & Bounty — you will therefore please to examine your Papers & if you find them enclose them to me. — The Pay Roll for Nov.s has been examined; and the amount found due as you mention is Nine hundred & forty three Dollars 50/100 which sum you will receive from Nicholas Fish Esq.r as usual and give him the necessary Rec.ts — The Letter you enclosed for your Brother has been delivered to him
