Pittsburg 16^th December 1796 Sir Your letter of the 9^th instant accompanied by the Packet of News Papers &c. My letter by last post viz. of the 9^th I presume must have informed you of my having received your remittance of 2,500 Dollars enclosed in your letter of the 2^d instant and I have now to advise you of a Draft made on the 10^th in favor of Robert Culbertson for 300 Dollars at 8 days sight which be pleased to pay & charge as usual. I was in hopes of a remittance by this post & shall expect it by next. You will find this accompanied by a Packet containing Vouchers of Issues of Provision at this Post for July, August & September 1796 together with a general Return of D.W.
