I recd your letter of the 30th Ulto, enclosing the Muster & Pay Rolls of your Recruits for Novr 1796, and after adding thereto Lt Danl Bissell's pay for said period (he being still in service) amounts to one hundred & twenty dollars & 26/100; which sum you will receive from John Chester Esqr Supervisor Weathersfield on giving him duplicate receipts for the due application thereof.
