I have received your letter of the 11th Inst. and accordingly have received the money from John Chester Esqr. and should have forwarded the receipt for the same had it not been for the absence of Lt Bissell I could not obtain his receipt, but shall forward it as soon as posible — I inclose a Muster & pay Roll of the Recruits at this Rendezvous for the Month of November 1796 —
