I have recd your letter of the 4th Inst with the Muster & Pay Roll of the detachment under your command for the month of November. —— I have made up your pay and the pay of those men that marched with you from West Point except Thomas Duncan and John Wilson (who do not appear on your last Muster Roll) for the month of Octr which added to the amount of the Pay Roll for Novr, amounts to Five hundred thirty four Dollars and sixty cents agreeably to the enclosed receipt roll, which sum you will receive from Nicholas Fish Esqr Supt New York, giving him your duplicate receipts to be accountable for the due application thereof.
